A customer came to us with a clear challenge for a new RoTab® T 3.0:a production room with an unusually low ceiling height. Under normal conditions, even a small tablet press wouldn’t fit — a classic powder feeding setup with a standard hopper was simply not possible.

So we engineered a tailored solution:

Removing the shut-off slider Shortening the cylindrical part of the hopper

By redesigning the hopper geometry, we achieved a total machine height that allows normal filling operations even with only 1,960 mm of clearance.

Sometimes innovation means adding new features.And sometimes it means removing just the right component to make the impossible fit.
